Beach Swimming And Sunbathing
The large, public beach, Playa Espadilla, is on the road just before the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park. There are many beach chair/umbrella vendors, & surfboard, boogie board and rental vendors. Gift & souvenir stands are numerous as well as many small restaurants.
The public beach can, at times, have strong currents or riptides, so please swim with caution and pay attention to the lifeguards.
(We recommend camera, sunscreen, towels and small amounts of money.)
